I’ve lived in San Francisco for my entire life, and I love giving back to the community that I grew up and work in.

I’m proud to have been treating many of my patients for their entire lifetime. I find joy in getting to know, educating, and delivering care for each of my patients as I would for my own family. No matter what the question or concern, I’m here to provide for each one of them. I want to make visiting the dentist a pleasant and enjoyable experience for our patients—never a chore. We take all the time necessary to ensure that we not only meet patients’ needs, but they leave our office smiling.

I have more than three decades of experience in this field, and together with Dr. Shih’s training, our practice is able to provide the whole package of general dentistry care and cosmetic services. Our patients know and trust us, and we want them to know that we’re doing everything possible to treat them with the highest caliber of care, from nurturing a tight-knit staff to creating a relaxing office environment. 

I love spending my free time with my wife, three children, and grandchildren. I try to keep fit by running Lake Merced or the Great Highway. I have completed nine marathons, including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, Boston, and Rome. For 18 years, I have been a soccer referee at the club and high school level. I enjoy golfing at the Olympic Club and going to Giants and 49er games. I’m proud to have been inducted into the Riordan High School Hall of Fame for baseball.
